Gagash and wife case postponed to Thursday

The Polokwane Magistrate’s Court has adjourned the fraud and money laundering case against Tshwane Metro Police Sergeant Peter Nonyane and his wife, Charlotte Tibane-Nonyane, setting the next hearing for Friday, 21 August 2026, to allow time for profiling.

The Charges: The couple faces allegations of fraud and money laundering tied to the alleged mishandling of a deceased estate.

Court Appearance: Presided over by Magistrate Geoffrey Netshiozwi, the appearance follows Sergeant Nonyane’s arrest on Friday, 14 August 2026.

The state is opposing bail and the State has requested a postponement to 21 August 2026 to conduct a bail investigation, including profiling and checks for any pending criminal charges against Tshwane Metro Police Sergeant accused 2 and also do do profiling and residential verification plus finger prints.
